Having your feet apart can give a measurement that is actually larger than your hip area.

2. Waist

Your natural waist measurement should be taken at the narrowest part of your torso. This is where your body curves in and is often at or above your belly button.

3. Hip

Your hip measurements should be taken at the fullest part of your hips.

When your order arrives, we recommend:

  • Keeping the remaining pairs unopened, unworn, unwashed, and sealed (each pair is individually packed and sealed for hygiene reasons)

If the worn pair does not perform as intended, you can contact us within 100 days of receiving your order and we’ll help you out.

And just so you know — you don’t need to send back the worn pair.

Size Exchanges

We want you to feel confident choosing your size. Our undies are made true to size, so we strongly recommend using our size guide before ordering.

If you need a size exchange, the following conditions apply:

  • Size exchanges must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order  
  • Each order includes one (1) complimentary size exchange
  • Items must be unopened, unwashed, unworn, and unused
  • Each pair must remain sealed in its original packaging for hygiene reasons  
  • Exchanges are available for the same style and colour only, subject to stock availability   

If you request additional size exchanges beyond the first, an exchange fee may apply to cover handling and shipping costs. We’ll always let you know any applicable fee before processing.

Size exchanges are not covered under our 100 Day Risk Free Guarantee.

If the requested replacement size is unavailable, we’ll be in touch to discuss available options.

 

Change of Mind

If you change your mind, you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Proof of purchase is provided
  • Clear photographs (front and back) of the product packaging are supplied to help us assess the return
  • The product is unopened, unwashed, unworn, and unused
  • Each pair remains sealed in its original packaging for hygiene reasons
  • The packaging has not been opened, tampered with, damaged, or altered in any way

We don’t accept change-of-mind returns on Sale, Clearance, Factory Seconds, or Final Sale items, including products in our We Made Heaps category.

For eligible change-of-mind returns, we’ll let you know whether a refund, store credit, or exchange is available, depending on the circumstances. (This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty or incorrectly described products)

 

Faulty Product

We work extremely hard to ensure all Pee Chee Cheex products are made to a high standard. If something isn’t right, please reach out — we’re here to help.

If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the nature of the issue, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund, or store credit, in line with your rights.

Products marked as factory seconds at the time of purchase are excluded from this section, as any known faults are disclosed upfront.

 

Cost of Returns

Who covers return shipping depends on why the item is coming back — here’s how it works.

  • Faulty or incorrectly described products: If something arrives faulty or not as described, we’ve got you. Return shipping will be covered in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Size exchanges and change-of-mind returns: For size exchanges or change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are generally covered by the customer, unless we let you know otherwise.

To help make sure your return gets back to us safely, please follow the return instructions we provide. If items are sent back without getting in touch first or without using the suggested return process, we can’t be responsible for parcels that go missing along the way.

How To Pack and Send Returns

We recommend using the reusable satchel or mailer bag your order arrived in — it’s compostable and biodegradable.

Please don’t write on, label, tape, or attach anything directly to the Product(s) packaging.

If you’re arranging your own return postage, we recommend using a tracked service and keeping your tracking number until your return has been processed. This helps ensure your parcel gets back to us safely, as we’re unable to take responsibility for returns that are lost or go missing in transit.

 

How To Pack and Send Returns

Please allow time for your return delivery to reach us. This may very depending on your location. Refunds requests are reviewed within 48-72 hours of receiving your item. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know the status of your refund request. Depending on your payment method, please allow 2 to 4 weeks for refunds to be processed.

Wait… doesn’t all fabric use chemicals somehow?
You're right... most modern fabrics involve some level of chemical processing during manufacturing, including bamboo viscose, modal and cotton.

The bigger question is which chemicals hang around in the finished garment you wear, and whether extra chemical finishes are added afterwards for things like odour-control or antibacterial claims.

Pee Chee Cheex doesn’t rely on added odour-control or antibacterial finishes to manage smell. Instead, our breathable design and custom fabrics naturally help manage moisture and odour.

We also require suppliers to meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and The Period Undie has been independently tested for substances including PFAS-related compounds and phthalates.
If you don’t add odour chemicals, won’t it smell?
Short answer: No, with proper wash care. We designed with love and respect for our most sensitive skin: breathable layers, quick-dry flow paths, and natural fibres that help with odour without fragrance. Two layers of Lenzing Modal™ wrap the body, with bamboo-derived fibres on the inside, air moving through the gusset, moisture locked in the core. Our brave sniff-panel gave it the thumbs-up, pre-wash and post-wash. Nothing to mask. Nothing to wash away over time.
But aren’t coatings and chemical adhesives needed to stop leaks?
Nope. Think channels and barriers, not glue. Layered wicking + a quad-barrier design with edge guards locks fluid where it should be. No “spray-on” coatings, no phthalate-heavy glues. The leakproofing is built-in by design, so it survives wash after wash.
What exactly do you mean by “no added chemicals”?
Plain English: no PFAS/PFCs, no fragrance, no “anti-bacterial” treatments, no odour-controlling chemicals, no moisture-control coatings, no phthalate-based glues. For our peace of mind, we do independent global lab testing just in case something tries to slip through. (We follow one of the most comprehensive restricted substances lists used globally by apparel brands.)
